My little princess...

Natalie keeps our lives interesting. You never know what you are going to hear when she opens her mouth. A couple of weeks ago she asked me for a drink of water. After she drank it, she said in the sweetest voice, "Oh, thank you, your grace." She is always saying "your majesty" or "your highness" to me. I think this is rather ironic since she is the one who wants to be treated like royalty around here. She wants me carry her whenever she doesn't feel like walking (don't worry... I don't do it) and she wants me to wipe her bum for her (on everyday except Mondays and sometimes on Wednesday... those were her words exactly)... don't worry, I don't do that either! We just love our little Natalie because she keeps us laughing!
I have to post this memory, since I started thinking about laughing at Natalie. When she was being potty trained I kept finding pee around the toilet on the floor. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I thought maybe Jackson just wasn't aiming well... although I was a Nazi about getting it in the toilet once he started getting potty trained. Well, one day I was able to figure it out. I would put Natalie on the toilet and let her sit there for a while, then I would come back and check on her. One day when I came back to check on her she had jumped off the potty and had lifted the toilet seat and was standing up and holding her belly button and peeing on the floor. Apparently, she had seen Jackson go to the bathroom before and she wanted to be big like him! Even after all this time, that story still cracks me up!

That is such a funny story! Spunky kids are so much fun...that is until they start giving the major attitude and then it's not so cute anymore. Avery has gotten good at that. :)

I think that story is HILARIOUS! I remember you telling me about it at Grandma & Grandpa's. She is so funny...I can't believe the things she says to you.

That is so funny. I remember you telling me about that, but I forgot. Reading it again made me laugh as hard as the first time! If Alyssa were a boy, I could totally see Audrey doing that. She wants to do everything Alyssa does! We miss you guys!
