I just had to post something crazy today. My dad sent me this article from a 1955 "Housekeeping Monthly" magazine. Some of you may have already seen this one, but it makes me laugh every time I read it. Click on it to read it for yourself. I have to say that I am very glad things are quite this way anymore... Cooper showed that to me a couple months ago. He said that he is glad it's not like that anymore. I don't know if he was trying to be nice, becuase I'm so not like that. Or if he was joking and wished that I actually cooked dinner once in a while.
Hey Emily! I am so glad that you gave me the link to your blog. I have been wondering how you guys are doing. I am glad that you like it up there! Holly should be having her baby soon but we probably won't be up there anytime soon. Will you visit AZ in the summer at all?
A couple of those things actually do apply today, but the rest are so out there that I just had to laugh out loud! That was published the year Chris's parents got married, and I would bet that my mom-in-law would have laughed at it THEN.
On a different note, it was so good to see you all over the weekend! I wish it could have been longer, and that the rest of the family could have come, too. Hopefully in the summer:)
Wow! I think I would go insane. Sometimes when Ben comes out of his office and sees me sitting down reading a book or something, he will jokingly give me a hard time. I always tell him that anytime he would like to trade just let me know. He never takes me up on my offer.
